Please tell me about your current position at ITC Systems. What other roles have you performed at ITC Systems?
As Director of Sales for the Northeast Region, my focus is to expand ITC Systems’ business by developing a strong customer base across the region while maintaining and growing the existing customer base. Through established relationships and networking, I ensure that our company is meeting the needs and expectations of our customers.
How long have you been working here?
I started my career with ITC Systems in October 2015.
Can you tell us a little about your day to day job functions?
My day to day job consists of working with new and existing customers by building and developing relationships. This allows me to gain a better understanding of their needs and collaborate with them to ensure the best solution and products are provided to achieve their goals and improve their business.
What has been the most interesting thing you’ve seen or done here?
One of the most interesting things about ITC Systems is the ability to develop technology to fit our customer’s needs. We excel as a company because we develop, produce and manufacture most of our own products. We have engineers, software developers, and technical personnel on staff that can take a request from a customer and develop it to their specific needs.
What tools or software do you use most in your day to day operations?
As far as software, I use SAP Business One, Microsoft Office 365, Linkedin and trade and business online sites. These tools allow me to keep in touch with my customers, guide me in my day to day interactions and keep me up to date with the latest industry trends.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My family and I enjoy our vacations in Destin, Florida. We love the beach. Now that the kids are both in college, my favorite vacation spot is wherever they are. This year Jeff and I are letting Joe and Katie plan our vacation, so we are looking forward to spending time with them and relaxing!
What do you like most about working at ITC Systems?
I love that ITC’s philosophy isn’t “here’s our product, go sell it,” it’s “here’s our product and here are a hundred different ways our customers can use it.” We all have our own territories, which breeds an atmosphere of teamwork instead of competition. At ITC Systems, everybody is helping each other learn and grow and that is key.
What more can you tell me about yourself i.e. Family, leisure activities, sports, accomplishments, etc.?
I have been married to my husband Jeff for 29 years, we have two wonderful kids; Joe is 24 and graduating from Southeast Missouri State University in May and our daughter, Katie, is a junior at Lindenwood University. I love music of all genres and thoroughly enjoy gardening. My favorite pastimes are reading and the St. Louis Cardinals.
