Rob Cacciottolo, VP Operations
Please tell me your position at ITC Systems and your role?
My current role at ITC Systems is VP of Operations which I have held since 2014. As the VP of Operations I oversee our support, production and software development departments and ensure that our teams are working towards the same goal in meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations.
What other roles have you performed at ITC Systems?
Throughout my tenure at ITC I have worked in several different departments starting with production then service, sales and operations. I even spent a year living and working out of our St. Louis office.
How long you been working here?
I have been with ITC Systems for approximately 14 years.
Can you tell us a little about your day to day job functions?
My day to day is quite hectic as I interact with the majority of teams in the company so it keeps me on my toes. I see my role as a bit of a jack of all trades that is able to jump in and help my colleagues.
What has been the most interesting thing you’ve seen or done here?
I really enjoyed my years in service and sales as it enabled me to travel North America and experience the different cities and communities throughout Canada and the USA and build relationships with a lot of great clients along the way.
What tools or software do you use most in your day to day operations?
I try and pride myself of being very responsive to clients and team members so email is where I spent the majority of my time during the day. When I’m not responding to email I try and focus on how we can improve systems to increase efficiency for our teams and our clients.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I’ve traveled quite a bit over the years throughout the world but I think my favorite vacation spot would be our family cottage. My grandfather built it in 1963 and our family has been spending summers there ever since.
What do you like most about working at ITC Systems?
I would say the most rewarding thing about working at ITC Systems is the people. It’s not always easy and often hectic but our team is strong and we always pull together to accomplish the tasks we set out to conquer regardless of the complexity.
What more can you tell me about yourself i.e. Family, leisure activities, sports, accomplishments etc.?
This year has been a very busy year personally as my wife and I welcomed our fist child to the family. Leo is now 8 months old and is determined to walk so we have our hands full keeping after him but he’s a great baby and we couldn’t be happier. Any spare time I do have outside of family I usually spend training and competing in jiu jitsu which keeps me active and is a great stress reliever.
