ITC Systems announces the End of Life for Stored Value Magnetic Stripe including Cash Card Copier Controller – Model 1500, Mini Transaction Till – Model 1535 and Cash Card Loader Model 1585.
ITC continuously evaluates and improves our hardware, software, and services as technology and security standards evolve. Given the supply chain issues experienced globally, we can no longer provide parts on the above hardware.
Stored Value Magnetic Stripe (SVM) originally designed in the 1990’s, has been replaced by a modern, secure Stored Value Tap (SVT) platform using encrypted contactless cards. To complement the new SVT technology, new terminals have been designed based on ITC’s cloud driven solutions as well as a Stored Value Tap (SVT) offline solution.
Service contracts will no longer be renewed for the SVM platform. If you have an existing contract, please contact your Account Manager or sales@itcsystems.com to see how your contract can be applied to our advanced SVT platform.
