TORONTO, ON. February 4, 2015—ITC Systems is pleased to announce the release of an anonymous print management software program that will increase the ease and security with which library patrons and administration can print needed materials. The new platform, called Anonymous Print, will also deliver substantial savings to the administrators of library printing departments.

“Anonymous Print represents a huge improvement in the administration of library printing services,” says ITC Systems CEO Campbell Richardson. “It’s simple, effective and completely integrated with PaperCut.”

Anonymous Print allows the PaperCut solution to maintain an environment where patrons are not required to maintain a user profile: they can simply secure their print jobs on-the-fly with a username and password of their choice. This reduces the administrative load on library staff and saves them from having to look up user accounts for patrons who may have forgotten their credentials. Since most libraries are public institutions, they often have one-time use clients and thus Anonymous Print means these users don’t have to be maintained in the PaperCut database.
