ITC recognized the need to include mental health tools in their offerings as individuals’ risk of mental health problems increases every day. With the added stresses brought on by the pandemic, the demand for mental health resources is on the rise leaving universities, colleges, and public health departments struggling to respond. Most universities are unable to meet the recommended ratio of one counselor for every 1,000 – 1,500 students.
