As a third-party Data Processor, we manage and maintain your institution’s privilege credentialing system under the guidance and instructions of your institution, which acts as the Data Controller. 2. Permissions Required to Provide Additional Services
To provide the full functionality of the Seneca OneCard app, we require the following permissions:
a. Location Access: Essential for connecting with nearby Bluetooth readers. We do not transmit or store your location data.
b. Bluetooth Access: Needed to scan and connect with nearby Bluetooth readers.
c. Background Location Access: Allows uninterrupted Bluetooth reader services, even when the app is not open. Your location data is neither transmitted nor stored.

The Seneca OneCard app collects a minimal amount of personal information, limited to your email address for enrollment purposes. All other user information is provided by your institution. This includes data necessary for setting up and maintaining your account and enabling the use of our products and services.
